Urban Art Fails to Attract Buyers
Bloomberg news is reporting that a recent auction of work by urban artists such as Banksy failed to attract buyers.
Works by Banksy and other graffiti painters failed to sell in London today as buyers stayed away from an auction of contemporary and urban art.
A marked contrast with the recent massive success of Damien Hirst’s gallery bypassing auction at Sotheby’s.
